Performance
Run Lighthouse audits against your dev theme before it goes live. Track Core Web Vitals scores over time and catch speed regressions early — not after a client notices their store is slow.
What it measures
Performance Score
Overall Lighthouse score (0–100). 90+ is green, 50–89 amber, below 50 red.
Core Web Vitals
LCP, FCP, CLS, and TBT — Google's real-world user experience metrics and ranking signals.
Audit Items
Pass/fail breakdown — render-blocking resources, unused JavaScript, image optimisation, and more.
History
Every audit is recorded. Track improvement or catch regressions deploy by deploy.
Running a PageSpeed Audit
Open the Performance tab
Click Performance in the theme sidebar.
Click Run Audit
ThemeSync calls the Google PageSpeed Insights API against your theme's preview URL. Results appear within 30–60 seconds.
Review scores
Scores are shown separately for Desktop and Mobile. Each metric has a pass/fail ring with the raw value.
Expand audit items
Click any audit item to see exactly what's causing the issue and what to fix.

Score History
Every audit run is stored. The history panel shows a timeline so you can:
- Identify exactly which deploy caused a regression
- Track progressive improvement across a project
- Share a score trend with clients as evidence of optimisation work
